So this means that the project is myself. What you're looking at are screen shots from Wii Fit Plus and Wii Active (the first picture) This is where all of my crafting time is going to right now. Working out. And these are just technology recorded workouts. I'm still at the dojo and I'm doing my pushups on the stairs to train myself up to doing proper pushups.
All of this is for me. Because I want to. And, I want that Black Belt. I can only get it if I ramp it up. It's working right now too. I feel good and I've got to do this if I'm going to meet any of my internal goals. If my knee feels too bad I work on push-ups, crunches and other non-aerobic activities that help with strength. I have so many tools - a fitness ball, a total gym, the two games, and my karate that I can do to be doing something everyday.
I'm also changing my diet, not drastically as there is only so much I can do. But I'm making sure I eat breakfast - because as we've been told you can't loose weight if you don't eat breakfast and that is so true for me. I've seen it. I'm spacing out meals by doing snacks as well (cereal bars, etc) because with my schedule it can be long stretches of time before I eat again and doing so is helping to keep a proper metablism. And, I'm getting it out of my head to not mindlessly snack just because it's something to do. I'm not feelign physically hungry, it's all mental with me and I know it. And in the next few weeks that's what crafts are going to be replacing - that hungry feeling.
Three years ago, I started with a goal in mind to be at by the end of the year. While I didn't make it that year, I lost twenty pounds that I kept off and had another fifteen that I've played with for the past two years. Well, this year, with my black belt, I plan on making that goal I had three years ago.
It's really going well so far and seeing the charts from Wii Fit Plus helps to keep me motivated.
My waist size has already decreased:
by 1.5 inches. And my weight:
I've got a long way to go, but as I said before I'm already seeing changes. And surprisingly, I'm really excited about this!
