Catching up on Pictures.

So, Chad's and my life is the same. Just as it should be. And I know I told you I would not bore you with the same old same old.

This week, I have been unable to come up with an adequate topic to write about. Sure, I could regail you with my pet peeves and other stupid things like that, but why bring myself down that way when I'm feeling good. There will be plenty of other time for that. However, if you do have something you would like to see me write about (a safe subject though, I don't want to debate politics, etc on this blog) let me know in the comments and I would be happy to see what I can do for you.

I do, however owe you pictures from last week and this week. One set of seven pictures is regular, just normal subjects with no manipulation. The second set are all new pictures, but me playing with software that I have to try to see what effects that I could get.

Enjoy!

The "regular" set:

Our guest bedroom with the first item we have hund on our walls. It is a beautiful tapestry that my step-mother-in-law gave us.

I seem to like nature and I get to look at this tree stump growing with moss out of my back windows anytime I want to.
The sky is blue again! It's been a little while since I've been off and the sky has been blue at the same time.

One of our outdoor plants is producing a flower or two.

And another one is trying to.

And this is how crazy that I am. Fifty degrees, walking around outside taking pictures in flip flops. I even wore the flip flops to karate the other night in the 40 degree rain.
This was taken yesterday. Yes, it's nice and green (although not as green as it's going to be) and we have a Carolina Wren perched on the branch in the middle there.

And now the manipulated pictures:

Wimsical Sunday Morning. I made this look more like it was drawn with colored pencils which is the technique I used on the stationary I sent the Christmas letter on.

Just playing with filter effects here.

I added objects to create my own little penguin brigad. (Ask Daniel if you really want to know. He started it!)

More filter effects and lighting effects.
Saturation effects here.

Saturation and focus effects.

Playing with cropping and adding frames as well as hue effects. This is a rose made out of palm fronds that are sold downtown.

Well, that's it for now. I'll talk to you guys the next time I post! And if I can't come up with a subject, I will hit one of my writers block books and show you the results from that if we have no major family news.
