Pick me up

So, I've been watching Fraggle Rock and The Muppet Show as a pick me up and really enjoying myself!

I can't help but watching the skits Mahnna, Mahnna and Java over and over again in The Muppet show and laughing.

Just goes to show how brilliant Jim Henson was. Most people don't know just how many projects his creative team has had and continues to have a hand in. Check it out sometime.

In Crafting news here is the simple mesh bag I crocheted for our throwing stones.


Now to attack the meatballs again.

LOL! Mahna Mahna is my favorite! I remember at my 13th BD party I had some 'lond distance' friends over a whole weekend and my little brother was really into the muppet show, he had a couple tapes and one of them had the Mahnna Mahnna skit on it. The girls and I would go around singing it constantly LOL, two of us taking the roles of the little pink creatures and the other getting to be the Mahnna Dude himself. It would get stuck in our head sooo bad LOL!

good times...

What's Java? A muppet show thing or is it a Fraggle thing? I wonder if I've seen it...

Java is a clip from the Ethel Merman Show in season 1 of the Muppet Show. It was also done on Ed Sullivan.

Hmm then I must have seen it, I'm just not connecting the name with the skit... I'll have to check that out someday when I have time (ok, ok. Maybe more like someday when I don't have time but I want to procrastinate... ;-) )
