March Of Dimes

I don't do this often, but I am now coming to everyone to plead for an organization near and dear to me, the March of Dimes.

Not only do I get to see the March of Dimes efforts at work everyday in the innovations they've made with caring for the little ones I care for, but they have touched every single one of our lives too.  From the start with their efforts in erradicating Polio with a vaccine, to metabolic screening that 98% of newborns in every state goes through (five dots of blood on filter paper to save a lifetime of problems) to the  newest innovations with surfactant and nitric oxide we have all been touched by the March of Dimes.

This year I've set a personal goal to raise $600 dollars for them (and I would love to far exceed that).  Please check out my page through the March of Dimes and think about contributing.  After all, there are more people affected by their work than you would imagine.
