Now, to rush through the rest of the year.

So, Thanksgiving has come and gone. All that planning and preparation to have it go by so fast.

Fredrick and Lil' Turkey (Fredrick named him...) were amazed at the sights of desserts waiting when we got to my mom's house and were highly disappointed they would not be served first.

Both waited in anticipation for the sides to be cooked, trying to sneak a taste of the green bean casserole before anyone else could get their paws on it.

Innoncence was lost (as you can tell by the tears) as Lil' Turkey and Fredrick sat at the table just before the whole family grouped together and saw that there was turkey on the menu.

But Fredrick was happy to share my plate of ham, mashed potatoes and gravy, green bean casserole, stuffing and cranberries with me. (Lil' Turkey was too upset to eat!)
We enjoyed visiting with each other and seeing rare sited such as the following:

Daniel and Kat together in the same room (I've barely seen this since the wedding... doesn't that happen to all married couples as Chad and I seem to rarely be together as well!)
Sarah and Fredrick smiling together. How Fredrick did that I'll never know.

Even Andrew and Fredrick bonded in that strange male way all the boys of Chad's family seem to have.
A couple days after Thankgiving and Chad's family is still celebrating:
And I'm still crafting away. What was this:

Is now looking more like this and I'm almost finished with it.

I've now finished three knitted Christmas presents, have been given another reprieve and deadline extension for a few, and am well on my way to almost being finished!

More updates later, hope everyone had a good holiday weekend!

I had to look REALLLYY close at the picture of your family at the table because I swear, at first glance, Daniel looks just like your dad. Unless that is your dad. And that's my point. LOL
