While Melissa is visiting...

I'm going to take over again and post. I'll even post a few hours shy of Sunday to make sure that one is up for her.

Okay, so I promised knitting, and Mandy, I'm going to help you out but... all the pictures that Melissa took of me knitting were lost in some fluke accident. Instead, I'm going to share with you outing of Charleston. Right now Melissa and Chad have visitors and boy have we had fun with more days to go!

So, I am now Melissa's regular companion on trips, and people just love to see me around town. I get so many compliments! And I just love to see Charleston, and in fact, this is frequently how I see the town, safely riding under the handle on top of the camera bag:

This was from a trip that was just Chad, Melissa and me... Melissa felt October coming on and we walked through an open historic cemetary:

But today's trip was lots of fun too. Chad, Melissa, her mom, her Aunt Peggy, her grandmother, and me all headed downtown for more sight-seeing and general fun. We paused on the steps of the Customs house for a group picture:

Then we took a carriage ride throught the city. I thought about riding on Chad's shoulder for the ride:

But changed my mind and went back to my usual perch.

They only allow twenty carriages out in the city at one time, so everyone has to take a different route. Chad and Melissa got to see a lot of the city that they haven't seen before. And some of these pictures I included just because I think they are pretty:

(Tradd Street is named for the first boy born in Charleston, his only claim to fame)

The past two pictures are of the most haunted building in Charleston, the old jail. It's rather scary looking.

Then I spent time trying to see who I could get pictures with. Here's Melissa's Mom:

And here's Grandma and Aunt Peggy!

I can't wait to see what other fun we get to have.

Talk to you guys later!

Hi Fredrick!! It looks like you had sooooo much fun with all of your family visiting, and getting to go out with everybody. You are so cute in your pictures!! Don't worry about teaching me to knit--I know you will as soon as you have time...we have been busy with Aimee's baby shower this past couple of weeks, but mom has pics posted of that now if you and your mom want to come check them out. It was alot of fun. My mom's niece, Riley really loves me, and took me back to Illinois with her for now. I will be visiting them in Illinois until my mom, Aimee and the baby come down at Christmas time. She took me everywhere with her--but mom was so busy with the baby shower, she didn't get any pics of us together. Oh well--she will at Christmas time!! Hugzzzzzz for now!!!
Your Friend--
