They've been very busy, working at work, working around the house. They're planning on how to enjoy everything around them!
Chad's enjoying shooting his rifle (and Melissa isn't so shabby herself considering all) and spending the time with Grandpa. Melissa is enjoying karate and trying to organize her crafts (I keep telling her to let me do it but she just doesn't listen). She also passed her test last week and is now a green belt. She has her awards ceremony this coming Saturday.
This week I got to have fun though. That's why I decided that it was my turn to post and that Melissa couldn't do it! Ha, ha!
See, Chad and Melissa took me to the aquarium with them this week (yes, they do go places together occasionally!). Melissa and I wanted to see the turtles before they were auctioned on Saturday.
This was my first time ever getting to go, I just had to share with you. And here it is below, I couldn't believe that a little frog like me was going to get to wander this huge building.
Best thing is, not only were there turtles, there were frogs too! This one tried to shoot at us:
But this one welcomed us with open arms!
If I thought the first turtle was pretty, I didn't have any idea what was in store for me.
This one must have been a college student at the local university.
And these too were willing to have their picture taken with me!
And I thought these guys were so funny clinging to the glass.
Chad and I were really having a grand time looking around. I can't believe that Melissa was able to snap this picture of us together.
And I saw things that I certainly wouldn't want to meet alone like this crab:
This bird was funny poking around and looking for food:
And this owl, just didn't want anything to do with me at all!
I saw the biggest lobster I think I've ever seen in my life, but Melissa tells me they are getting a bigger one.
And the baby sea turtles are just so cute!
I'm with Melissa on this one, next to frogs, sea turtles are my absolute favorite!
Chad tried to point out the fish he would like to have in his aquarium for me.
I felt bad that this snake was in this little bitty cage but he seemed content enough hanging on his branch.
Then there were all these exotic little frogs:
All in all, I had a great day at the aquarium.
And I really think Melissa did too...
Talk to you guys later!
Oh yea, one more thing before I go. Look at what Chad did:

Hi Fredrick T. Frog--
It sure looks like you had a fun day at the aquarium!! I agree with your Melissa--besides looking at pictures of you having fun at the aquarium, my favorite pics were of the baby sea turtle--even baby sea turtles are adorable!!
well-I just wanted to say hi to you...
Tell Melissa Hi for me...and tell her I'm excited to meet her because I am a NICU nurse too...so tell her to come check out my site!! I'm excited to find another knitting NICU nurse out here in blogland!!
Cindy
The pictures of the baby turtles were truly wonderful. They seemed to be floating in the air. I'm now turning as green as Fredrick T. Frog :), however, I will figure out my camera even if it kills me!
