I came back!

I came back to post on the same day! I feel like my attention is wandering a lot today after work and I practically forgot it's Sunday. And now I'm being distracted by trying to do to many things at once.

That's okay, that's what my vacation will be for. I'm going to be off starting Wednesday until oh, Sept 1 or so. Out of that same time frame Chad will only work 3 days so... we're not planning to do much. I plan on trying to make up for some lost time in Karate, already gotten permission from Sensei Todd to do so. My next testing is Sept 8 and to me it is a big one (for reasons that will be said after I know the results) so I've got to get that training in! And we'll take day trips and such, visit friends, putter around (I'll finally finish organizing my craft supplies)

On a side note I just realized that blogger now has an auto save feature which is a good thing as I just accidentally tried to loose my post by closing it out. Told you I'm doing to many things at once (I'm uploading pictures to myspace and trying to comment to a few people.)

So, otherwise it's the same old work story for Chad and me. Well, we did go see Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (I was sorely disappointed) and the Bourne Ultimatum (other than the camera work making me physically sick, it was good story). And Chad's been researching accessories and such for the rifle. Pluse, we've been having lunch with Grandpa a little more frequently now and that's always fun.

I have been trying to touch up a few photos for Grandpa and here's my first "big" attempt to make a picture a little bit better.:




Grandpa and his hunting dog Rags as a puppy. The picture is completely torn so I tried to make it look a little better:

You can still tell there was a tear but printed out and and a general distance it's not as noticeable. Not horrible for my first real attempt (meaning I had to take drawing tools and such to it instead of just hitting buttons) if I do say so myself.
