On my way to finishing

Here is the picture that you saw of my mother's blanket the other day:



Then, it went into my washer:

And now, see, I'm actually blocking my mothers blanket. I won't bore you with all the strips pinned out but here are the first few:


And I also wanted to post this to ask my brother what this beverage reminds him of:


I'll tell you what it really is later, I just want to see if he thinks of what I thought of.
