When will I ever learn?

Mom,

We have a problem with the blanket.



I've been working on this blanket for over a year now and I go to put it together and discover this:

The differences come from when the yarn was purchased. The newer yarn is shorter and neater. The older yarn is fuzzy and longer. It's not holding it's shape.

Now, there are a few different things I can do for this but none of them will have the blanket done in time for Christmas.
